George S. Warters, 72, of Edicott, formerly of Lambs Creek, died Wednesday, October 19, 1955. He was a member of the First Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge of Endicott.

Survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Warters; son, Raymond Warters of Endicott; granddaughters, Mrs. Frederick Strauss of Endicott, Miss Mary Ann Warters of Syracuse; brothers, Alfred Warters of Lambs Creek, Mark of Elmira; sisters, Mrs. Edd TenEyck of Elmira, Mrs. Franklin Alden of Emporium.

Funeral Saturday, October 22, at 10 a.m. at the Allen Funeral Home, Endicott, the Rev. Lou Bouton officiating; interment in Vestal Hills Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Warters celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary September 18.
