Mrs. Arndt was born in Decatur on July 31, 1914, daughter of Markquis L. and Mary Ann Lee Booker. She was a seamstress for Eldorado Garment Factory and a member of First Christian Church. She married Darrel Arndt in 1934.
Surviving are her son, David Reed Arndt of Beaver, Ohio; daughter, Mrs. Larry (Shirley) Workman of Decatur; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great-stepgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
