"Mrs. Amarilla Files died of typhoid fever, at the home of her son, Dr. C.A. Files, East Main street. Mrs. Files was the wife of Matthew Files, one of the leading farmers of Union township. She was a kind hearted lady and had the esteem and respect of the entire community. The funeral service was held this afternoon at 2 o'clock. The remains were laid to rest at Woodland."
