Mrs. Mary Novotny, 88 years old, died Tuesday morning at the family residence, 38th street, south, and Pennsylvania avenue. Arrangements will be announced later by the Hahn funeral home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Novotny, 88 years old, who died Tuesday morning at the family residence, 38th street south and Pennsylvania avenue, will be conducted from the residence at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Burial will be in the Bohemian cemetery under direction of the Hahn funeral home. [THE OKLAHOMAN]
Mary Vostry married Frank Novotny in 1856. They immigrated to the United States aboard the Braunschweig in 1876 with their 8 children. A 9th child, Louisa had died previously in Bohemia. Frank and Mary settled in Nebraska where they had 2 more children. After Franks death in the early 1900's Mary moved to Kansas to live with her youngest daughter Mrs. Emma Fritz later she relocated to Oklahoma city living with her eldest daughter Mrs. Katherine Blecha.

"Marie Vostra (y) and was buried with him" (husband Frank). "There used to be a marker for each but it was vandalized so the markers are missing . Marie died November 4, 1904 and was interred beside Frank. I am a great grandchild and I have dates for all the family as well as photos. Her death should have been in the church records. I can't explain why it is not."
