Ray Dunn

Jackson, Tenn. – Services for Roy Dunn, 80, formerly of Armstrong, will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Brown’s United Methodist Church, Madison County, Tenn., with the Rev. Sam Pace officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. George A. Smith and Son, Mainstreet Chapel of Jackson in charge of arrangements. Dunn died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 1985 at the Maplewood Health Care Center, Jackson, after a short illness.

Dunn was born Aug. 13, 1905 at Dolliver and was the son of Robert and Mary E. (Davis) Dunn. He attended the Dolliver School. On Nov. 4, 1936 he was united in marriage with Andrea Serena Samantha Feddersen. The couple farmed near Armstrong. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church at Armstrong.

Survivors include his wife Andrea, Jackson; son Glenn Dunn and two daughters Mrs. James (Iris) Bittner, and Mrs. Kenneth (Marjorie) Stumpenhorst all of Jackson; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Chester Dunn. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, August 15, 1985)
