LYONS - Harold E. Suttle, 67, died Nov. 5, 1983, at his home after a sudden illness. Born May 30, 1916, in Lyons, he was a lifetime Lyons resident. He was married to Margery Lewis, Aug. 16, 1946, in Sterling. He was a retired Kaw Pipeline Oil Field gauger.
He was a member of the First Christian Church, the American Legion, the VFW and was a veteran of World
War II.
Survivors: the widow, of the home; sons: Roger Suttle, St. Louis, Mo.; Kenneth Suttle, Lyons; daughter: Donna Phillips, Wichita; brothers: A.C. Suttle, Lyons; Wendell Suttle, Dallas, Texas; sisters: Margie Suttle, Burrton; Ruth Miller, Burrton; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sillin-Crawford-Miller Funeral Home; the Rev. Marjorie Swingle. Burial will be at the Lyons Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The family suggests
memorials to the American Heart Association.
