He was born July 22, 1877, at Farmington, Ark. He married Edith Coyner in Hutchinson Feb. 7, 1901. He had lived here 69 years and was sheriff several terms. He was police judge at the time of his death.
Mr. Suttle was a member of the Christian Church and the Masonic Lodge. Surviving are his widow; seven sons, Harold, David, Claude Jr., Allie, all of Lyons; Gilbert, Covena, Calif.; Wendell, Wichita; Jack, Anchorage, Alaska;
three daughters, Nadine and Margie, both of Lyons, and Mrs. Gene Miller, Buhler; two sisters, Mrs Dola Veteto and Mrs Ida Murrell, both of Joplin; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Crawford Chapel with Rev. Don Clingan officiating. Burial will be in Lyons Cemetery.
