Antonio Palmisano
Antonio Palmisano, 74, resident of Lanett and West Point for 47 years, died Sunday at the Valley hospital, following a serious illness of only four days.
Services were conducted Tuesday from the Holy Family Catholic church in Lanett with the Rev. Father King, of St. Mary's Mission, in Opelika, officiating.
Born in Italy, Mr. Palmisano came to the United Sates when he was 14. For many years he was engaged in business in West Point, and Lanett. He had been in ill health for six months.
Surviving are two sons, Leon Palmisano,of Atlanta, and Joe Palmisano,of Lanett; two daughters, Mrs. c. E. DeLoach, Jr., of Lanett, and Mrs. Thomas Di Lorenzo,of New Paltz, N. Y.; also seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Burial was in West Point, conducted by Johnson and Blakely.
