Addie and Joseph raised seven children on Camp Creek, Dickenson County, Virginia. Addie died at the home of her daughter, Palmyra (Swindall) Stallard and is buried on Bold Camp, near Pound, Wise County, Virginia. Joseph died October 30, 1900 in Dickenson County, Virginia, of typhoid. He is buried in the Swindall family cemetery.
