Bonnie J. Satterfield, 83, of Social Springs community, Red River Parish, Louisiana went to be with our Lord January 9, 2009 in Cypress, TX. She graduated after obtaining her degree from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She was a retired teacher who taught at Hall Summit High School. Ms. Satterfield was an avid LSU fan.
She is survived by one daughter, Pam Joyce and husband, John of Cypress, TX; and one son, Jay Wrinkle and wife, Debbie of West Monroe, LA; four grandchildren, Sada Herrera, Kyle Joyce, Jay Wrinkle, II, and Dani Wrinkle; as well as, two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were be held at 1 P.M. Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Social Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Jack Bell officiating. Interment followed in Social Springs Cemetery. Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home was in charge of services. Donations may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
