Bernadine Snodgrass Aucutt, 88, formerly of Bloomington, went to be with her Lord on Nov. 16, 2011, in Lake Wales, Fla.
A memorial visitation for Bernadine will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at East Lawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, Bloomington. Cremation rites have been accorded, and arrangements are under the care of East Lawn Funeral Home.
Bernadine was born Dec. 31, 1922, in Towanda, to Penn and Effie Snodgrass. She married Stanley Aucutt on Jan. 28, 1951, in Towanda. He passed away Sept. 19, 2011.
She is survived by her sister, Gerry Craddock, Elgin; brother-in-law, Charles (Susan) Aucutt, Monterey, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
She graduated from Towanda Community High School and attended Illinois State Normal University. She worked at Illinois State University in the accounting department for 35 years. Bernadine and Stanley resided in Bloomington until moving to Nalcrest, Fla., in 1998.
