Mrs. Jessie Haywood Lowe, daughter of the late James Luke Simpson and Mrs. Hettie Kidwell Simpson, was born April 20, 1933, in Green County and departed this life Friday, December 23, 1994, at Norton's Hospital in Louisville. She was 61 years, eight months and three days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ. She united in marriage to Ed Lowe March 12, 1955, who survives. She is also survived by two brothers and three sisters: Floyce Simpson, Florida, and Coleman Simpson, Greensburg; Estell Hollingsworth, Louisville; Vester Milby and Gladys Wright, both of Greensburg, and a host of other relatives and friends. The remains were at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home where funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, December 25, with burial in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Revs. William Karnes and Curtis Slinker officiated. Pallbearers were Dorvil Price, Garland Russell, Junior Simpson, Bob Simpson, Dean Simpson, Jim Simpson and David Orman.
