She was born on March 22, 1917, in Hamilton County, a daughter of George and Katherine (Rubenacker) Roesch. On September 7, 1937, in Piopolis, she married Martin J. Anselment, who died in 1967. She was a housewife and a member of St. John's Church in Piopolis.
The funeral was at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 3, 1997, at St. John's. Rev. Joseph Lawler officiated. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Schild of Greenfield, Illinois, and Joyce Schilly of Collinsville; two sisters, Lucina Coy of Dahlgren and Betty Lueke of McLeansboro; four grandchildren, Kristie Schmidt, Lisa Kreher, Tim Kreher, and Alice Emberton, and one stepgreat-grandson.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, three sisters and one grandchild.
