VIRGINIA BEACH -Mrs. Angie Walters Land, 79, widow of George W. Land died at the residence of his(?) daughter, Mrs. Elmer Whitehurst, 1301 Cypress Ave., Virginia Beach yesterday at 6:50 p.m.
Besides Mrs. Whitehurst she is survived by six other daughters, Mrs. Henry Hartley, of Princess Anne County; Mrs. Elwood Brumley, Mrs. Floyd Wilson, Mrs. Charles Brown, all of Virginia Beach; Mrs. Johnny Grennell and Mrs. John Stevens, both of Norfolk; three sons, Paul W. Land of Norfolk; Cecil P. Land and Virgil Land, both of Princess Anne County; 23 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and three first cousins, Louis Waters and Joe Walters, of Princess Anne County, and Mrs. Beulah Avery of Baltimore.
Mrs. Land was a life long resident of Princess Anne County and was a member of the Charity Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Tuesday at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
