Earnestine attended Eliza Miller Junior School and Central High School in West Helena, Arkansas.
She was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan for 39 years. Earnestine retired from Saginaw Steering Gear Plant 6 (GM) after many years of service. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, shopping, playing the lottery, board games, going to the casino and playing bingo. Earnestine had a very giving, friendly and kind personality. She was social, funny, strong and forgiving.
She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Vickie L. (Kevin) Jones, Earnestine Walton Jr., Terri R. Williams; six grandchildren, William Newton Jr., J'Nicque Carter, Mariah Romero, Precious Baker, Lamario Bonds, En'Drique Walton; one great-granddaughter, Erica B. Lowe; one brother, John Clark; one niece, Gwendolyn White; many other relatives and friends including special friends , Arthur Tucker, Joanne Thompson, Mary Coleman, Mary Moore, Sharon Mitchell, Kay Fila, Michelle Green, Charles Thompson, her beloved dog "Midnight."
Earnestine was preceded in death by one daughter, Nora Jones, two sons, Eric Walton and Ricky Morris, her parents, Gabe and Mae Lee McDowell, sister, Marie White.
