Grady W. Murphy Iuka - 87, died Tuesday July 18, 2000 at the Iuka Hospital. He was a retired saw miller and an Army veteran. He was the most decorated soldier from Tishomingo County during World War II.
Mr. Murphy was preceded in death by his parents, John William Murphy and Lou Anna Murphy; 1 sister, Flora Mae Dewberry; 4 brothers, J. C. (Jack) Murphy, Dan Murphy, Clayton Murphy, and Whitehurst Murphy.
Survived by a sister, Amy Clark of Iuka, Ms. and several nieces and nephews
Visitation will be from 6 - 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2000. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday July 20, 2000, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel; Minister, Bro. Perry Murphy; Burial, Providence Cemetery.
