Harold Douglas Tackett, age 69, a resident of Salyersville, Ky., passed away September 8, 2010 ,at his residence.

Harold was born January 10, 1941, in Magoffin County, Ky, the son of the late Linzie and Wonnie Howard Tackett.

Harold was preceded in death by his first wife, Gretchel Howard Tackett and two brothers, Ray Tackett and Junior Tackett.

He is survived by his wife, Erma Tackett, one daughter, Pamela Puckett of Salyersville, Ky., three sons, William Slone and Timothy Slone, both of Warsaw, IN., and A. J. Hall of Salyersville, KY., two brothers, Clayton Tackett and Tim Tackett, both of Salyersville, Ky., three sisters, Stella Mae Tackett and Virginia Hale, both of Salyersville, Ky., and Garnett Sue Gullett of Dayton, OH., six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Sunday, September 12, 2010, from the Magoffin County Funeral Chapel, with John Blanton, Ronald Puckett and Anthony Ward officiating. Burial will follw in the Moses Howard Cemetery at Coon Creek, Kentucky.

Masonic Rites will be given by the Salyersville Masonic Lodge 769 F&AM Saturday September 11, 2010 at 7 P.M.
