JULIE K. (STRENG) BOND, SAGINAW, FORMERLY OF MAPLE GROVE TWP.
Age 34, Julie passed away on Monday, Sept. 16, 2002, at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. She was born April 30, 1968, the daughter of Ronald and Jane (Siler) Streng. She resided most of her life in Saginaw. She married Michael Bond on April 19, 1997. He urvives her. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church of Maple Grove and sang in the churach choir. She had also sang in the Chesaning Showboat Chorus. She was a medical secretary for Dr. John Wolfe. Survivors include her husband, Michael, mother, Jane Streng of Maple Grove Township, one sister, Denise and Mark Sammons of New Lothrop; two brothers, Joe and Delynn Streng of Freeland, and Bob and Paula Streng of Flushing; nieces and nephews, Justin and Amber Sammons, and Jamie Arron, Adam and Tyler Streng; grandmother, Mildred Siler of Merrill, mother-in-law, Rosemary Bond and brother-in-law, Brandon Spieth. She is predeceased by her father, Ronald Streng. Funeral Mass was held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20, 2002, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Maple Grove. The Rev. Fr. Randy Kelly officiated, with burial in St. Michael Cemetery. Friends called at the Walker-Martin Funeral Home in Chesaning on Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and all day Thursday, and at church on Friday after 10 a.m. Scripture servide was at 7 p.m. Thursday.
