DIED MONDAY
Funeral services for George C. Tate, 75, of Bastrop, who died at his home after a long illness Monday, were held in the Hickory Grove Church Tuesday, November 1, at 3:30 pm. The Rev. A. A. Johnson, Brother W. Brashwell and Bro. C. C. Darland officiated. Interment was in the Hickory Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Tate is survived by his wife:
Mrs. Ida Tate
Two sons:
W. W. Tate of Pasadena, Texas
A. L. Tate of Hattisburg, Mississippi
Four daughters:
Mrs. V. Kilpatrick of Springhill
Mrs. W. C. Wilson of Rayville
Mrs. R. C. Evans of Bastrop
Mrs. R. G. Martan ? of Bastrop
38 grandchildren 24 great grandchildren
