Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Thomas Herrington, 83, were held at 10 a.m., today, Dec. 31,1999, at Rose-Neath Chapel in Minden with the Rev. Danny Warbington officiating. Burial was in Fuller Cemetery. He died Wednesday, Dec. 29 in Minden.

Mr. Herrington was born in Ringgold and resided in Minden. He was retired from Willamette Industries.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Susie Herrington; and his wife, Frankie B. Herrington.

Survivors include two sons, John T. Herrington and wife Janice of Doyline and Jerry L. Herrington of Minden; one daughter, Jill Butcher and husband Dave of Minden; three sisters, Melissie Boyce and Emma Miller, both of Minden, and Sallie Holland of Heflin; grandchildren, Scott Herrington, Daniel Herrington and Wade Butcher; four greatgrandchildren;
and a special friend, Faye Miller of Minden.

Visitation was from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden.
