Mrs. Thomas Durrett Dies After Long Illness.
Mrs. Amanda Durrett, wife of the late J. Thomas Durrett, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. H. C. Warden, 824 North Sixth Street, at 8:10 o'clock this morning
after a long illness.
Mrs. Durrett was born in Graves County Ky and was 42 years of age. She had resided in Paducah most of her life. Her maiden name was Miss Amanda Collier.
Mrs. Durrett left no children but four sisters and two half brothers survived her. Her sisters are: Mrs. H. C. Warden, Mrs. Ophelia Heflin, and Mrs. W. F. Ellison of this city, and Mrs. M. E. Kilgore, of Eldorado Kan. Her half brothers are: Messers. John W. Stokes, of this city, and Mr. Thomas Stokes, of Tennessee.
She was a good woman much beloved by all who knew her.
The funeral will take place at Mrs. Warden's residence, tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock.
The burial will be at Oak Grove.
