Services for Roy Clanton Jones will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at Dry Prong First Baptist Church, Dry Prong with Reverend Lloyd Whitman, officiating. Burial will be at Dry Prong Cemetery, Dry Prong under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at Dry Prong Baptist Church, Dry Prong, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Mr. Jones, 49, of Onalaska, Texas, passed away Friday, January 20, 2012, at his residence.
He was a member of Broadway Baptist Temple in Houston, Texas and a graduate of Milby High School.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Geneva Christine Clanton Jones.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sisters, Della Barbee and husband Mark, Elisa Holton and husband Randall, and Robbie Thorpe; brother, H.G. "Buddy" Jones; many dear friends including, Pudge and Kathy Hedrick; numerous nieces and nephews.
