Doris Pennington Fulgham, age 79, passed away at the Oktibbeha County Regional Medical Center on January 22, 2012.
The funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, January 24 at 2 p.m. at Center Grove Baptist Church. Visitation will be held Monday, January 23 at Center grove Baptist Church from 5-7 p.m. and from 1-2 p.m. prior to the Service on Tuesday. Burial will be in the Center Grove Church Cemetery. Services will be conducted by Rev. Wayne Webster, Rev. Steve Casteel, and Rev. Joel Hudson.
Mrs. Fulgham was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church. She was very active in her church, school, community and the Sonshine Club. She also enjoyed working the election polls, she was a talented seamstress, and she loved animals, and enjoyed cooking for anyone and everybody.
Mrs. Fulgham is survived by her husband of 63 years, James A. Fugham of Maben; two sons, Michael Fulgham and his wife, Rhonda of Maben and Steve Fulgham and his wife Julie of Maben; four daughters, Rev. Carolyn Fulgham Webster and her husband Rev. Dr. Wayne Webster of Summit, Cindy Fulgham Casteel and her husband Rev. Steve Casteel of Madison, Debbie Fulgham Threet and her husband J.R. of Caledonia, and Amy Fulgham Hazzard and her fiancé Paul Lasky of Columbus; one sister, Cleo Dove of Brandon and 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
