YOUNG GIRL IS KILLED IN AUTO WRECK.

Miss Gertrude Barron, the fifteen year old daughter of John Barron, of near
Milan, was instantly killed this afternoon in an automobile wreck on the
Milan-McRae highway near W. H. Melvin's filling station. The car, which was the
property of Charlie L. Jamison, was driven by his daughter, Laura, fifteen years
old, and other occupants of the car were her sister, Madelyn, 13 years old, Mr.
Jamison's two-year-old baby, and Miss Barron. No cause for the accident is
assigned except that the driver lost control of the car and that it turned over
several times.

Miss Barron's skull was fractured, and it is thought that her neck and back were
broken. Miss Laura Jamison had her lip badly cut, two teeth knocked out, and her
body badly bruised. Madelyn Jamison suffered severe bruises and contusions. The
baby was severely braised. According to Dr. Maloy, of Milan, who attended the
surviving injured, all are expected to recover.
