Ruby was born October 30, 1905, in Eureka Springs, Carroll, Arkansas. She was the sixth of seven children born to John Chase and Ida Modlin.

She married Charles Bert Cameron in Eureka Springs, Carroll, Arkansas on May 5, 1919. Together, they had five children:

Mildred Ethel Cameron
Lorraine Pearl Cameron
Ina May Cameron
Dorothy Bell Cameron

Ruby died November 23, 1991, in Nampa, Canyon, Idaho. She was buried in Terrace Lawn Memorial Gardens in Boise, Ada, Idaho.

Ruby Bell Cameron, 86, of Nampa, died Saturday, Nov. 23, 1991 at the home of her daughter.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday Nov. 26 at the Cloverdale Funeral Home, Boise. The Rev. James Wolstenholm will officiate. Private burial will be in Terrace Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Ruby was born Oct. 30, 1905, at Eureka Springs, Ark., a daughter of John and Ida Chase. She married Charlie B. Cameron on May 5, 1919. The family came to Idaho when she was about 25 years old.

Ruby's life was filled with her husband, children, and gardening.

Friends may call today from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Cloverdale Funeral Home in Boise.
