"Former Residents Succumb At Danville - Homer—Double funeral services were conducted Monday for Mr. and Mrs. Milton J. (Red) Yeazel. Mr. Yeazel, 85, a retired meat products salesman, died at 9:30 a. m. Thursday, in the Veterans’ Hospital, which he had entered two weeks ago. Mrs. Yeazel, 78, died at 12:20 a. m. Saturday in St. Elizabeth Hospital, where she had been a patient two weeks.

Mr. Yeazel was born June 29, 1873, near Homer, son of James and Elizabeth Littler Yeazel. He received his education in the Homer schools, and enlisted in the Spanish-American War. Following his discharge he settled in Danville in 1900 where he married Manie Mae France on August 1, 1900.
