Evelyn K. Peterson,83, died February 13,1995, in Kennewick, Washington. She was born June 5, 1991, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Evelyn lived in Salt Lake City most of her life, moving to Kennewick four years ago to be close to her daughter. She was a published poet. She received State and National awards in shorthand and typing. She was an accomplished seamstress. Survived by daughter, Patricia Blankenship, Hermiston, Oregon; brothers, Keith Kerr, Ogden, Utah; Max Kerr, Salt Lake City; sister, Rowene Humphrey, Sandy, Utah; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by parents and a brother, Wayne. Burial was February 18, 1995.
