Neva C. Ball, 89, McCook, died Saturday (April 4, 1992) at Community Hospital in McCook. She was born April 12, 1902 in Bladen, to William H. and Nancy Ellen (Lewis) Fassler.

She graduated from McCook High School and attended Kearney State College.

She married Archie L. Ball April 23, 1924.

Preceding her in death were her husband in 1963, her parents, two sons, Robert Leroy and James Franklin, three brothers, Virgil, Walter and Donald, one sister, Lucille Squires, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Survivors include two sons, Wayne and Roger of McCook, three daughters, Betty Newlun of Hastings, Geraldine Leibrandt of Wilsonville, and Margie Simmons of Altus, Okla.; two sisters, Doris Thompson of McCook and Marion Drain of Trenton; 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Carpenter Breland Funeral Chapel, with Larry Smith officiating.

Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in McCook. Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook is in charge of arrangements.
