MRS. BERTHA BEHER DIED SUDDENLY
Mrs. Bertha Beher, age 56 years, wife of Tosso Beher, a well known farmer residing near Occident, Rush County, died suddenly Saturday at Pierce City, Mo., where she had gone for a visit with James Abernathy and wife. Mrs. Beher was accompanied to Missouri by her foster daughter, Mrs. Doris Berry, and the latter's daugher, Roseland Berry. On Saturday morning Mrs. Beher told the folks at the Abernathy home that she felt better than common, but in a brief space of time some of the members of the household found her quite ill, and physician was summoned to the home. It was a heart attack and Mrs. Beher only lived about 45 minutes after the attack came upon her.
She was the daughter of Josiah and Martha Florea, pioneers of Rush County, and was one of a family of 11 children, all of whom are gone before, except Mrs. John Dora and Mrs. Frank McDaniels of this city, and Mrs. John Sanders of northern Indiana. Mrs. Beher was a very popular woman in her neighborhood and one who will be greatly missed in the circles in which she moved.
The remains were brought back to Rushville, arriving there Sunday evening, and then were conveyed to her last home, near Occident.
Funeral services for Mrs. Beher were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 from the Little Blue River Baptist Church in Rush County, Indiana, conductec by Elder Watson. Burial was in Glencove Cemetery, this city.

Their foster daughter Doris Beher was adopted by Charles Brown and Martha Morgan.
