Bazel Barnes, 82, of Moultrie, died Friday, Jan. 20, 2012, at Unihealth Post Acute Care of Moultrie.
Born June 21, 1929, in Carrollton, Ga., he was the son of the late William Emanuel Barnes and Viola Lavonia Striplin Barnes. He was a Korean War Army veteran and retired from the City of Moultrie and Riverside Manufacturing Co.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Melba Chitty Barnes; and three brothers, Gene Barnes, Gary Barnes and Cary Barnes.
Survivors include two sisters, Wynelle Brown and husband Tommy of Moultrie and Betty Causey of Sylvester; and one brother, Stanley Barnes and wife Betty of Jackson, Ga.
