Mrs. Betty Jo Causey, 88, of Sylvester, died Friday, June 3, 2016 at her residence.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday June 5, 2016 at Kimball United Methodist Church with interment to follow in the Kimball Cemetery. The Rev. Matt Greene and Rev. Charlie Brown will officiate.

Mrs. Causey was born on November 5, 1927 in Carrollton, GA to the late William Emanuel and Viola Lavonia Strickland Barnes. She had lived in Worth County most of her life and was retired from Sylvester Textile. Mrs. Causey enjoyed her grandchildren, flowers, traveling, shopping and her church. She was a member Unity Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Causey was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey T. Causey and a daughter, Sandra Causey Brooks, brothers, Gene Barnes, Bazel Barnes, Gary Barnes and Cary Barnes.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 PM until service hour at Kimball United Methodist Church. (Edited not to include survivors)
