Elmwood-Mrs. Hessie O. Ingersoll 73, of 308 N. Rose St., Elmwood, died at 1:40 am yesterday in St. Francis Hospital, Peoria, where she was admitted as a patient at 4:30 AM Monday.
She was born April 16, 1894, in Rosefield township, the daughter of Alfred and Chloe Gillham LaFollett. She was first married to Jasper Dawson, Dec 11 1909, and he preceded her in death. Her second marriage was to Charles Ingersoll in 1941 and he also preceded her in death.

Surviving are 4 daughters, Mrs. Harriett Daymude, San Bernardino, Calif., Mrs. Genevieve Plumb, Elmwood; Mrs. Editha Huey, Pekin; Mrs. Ila Emehiser, state of Idaho; one son, Lloyd Dawson, rural Brimfield; two brothers, Lloyd LaFollett of Peoria; Arthur laFollett of Hana City; one sister, Mrs. Bernice Stear, also of Hanna City; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are one step son Raymond Ingersoll and a step-daughter Mrs. Ruth Kinkins, both of Peoria. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by two sons.
