The daughter of Gerardus & Rachel (Demerest) Ryker, Deborah married Mason Watts on 18 Jun 1793 in Shelby Co KY. They had six children while living in KY. By 1805 they were on the move to IN, where another seven children were born. They resided first in Jefferson Co IN, then Ripley Co IN and finally settled in Jennings Co IN.

Deborah is buried with her daughter Charity and in-laws in the Mavity family graveyard located on land that was once William Mavity's family farm. It is located off Old Michigan Rd near Rexville in Ripley Co IN.
