Mrs. Annie Belle Benson, 67, of Potomac, died at her residence on Tuesday, March 21.
Born in Wilson, N.C., Mrs. Benson was a daughter of the late Richard Raymond Williams and Lee Blanche Parker Williams.
Mrs. Benson is survived by her husband, James Wade Benson; four daughters, Brenda Pettry of Potomac, Janice B. Adkinson of Durham, N.C., JoAnne Poore of Kensington and Deborah B. Effle of Frederick; one son, James Daniel Benson of Dickerson; four sisters, Lizzie Williams and Betty Vick both of Wilson, N.C., Pauline Ferrell of Rocky Mount, N.C., and Louise Wheeless of Hyattsville; one brother, Cecil Williams of Wilson, N.C.; seven grandchildren, John C., Kristen and Nicholas Effle, Hilari and Cory Benson, Brian Poore and Mark Adkinson.
Friends will be received at Pumphrey's Colonial Funeral Home, 300 W. Montgomery Ave., Rockville,
on Friday, March 24 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held at the Pines Community Church, Travilah Road, Rockville, on Saturday, March 25, at 11 a.m. Burial will be held in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
