Mr. Hemmerle came to this country as a small child, and after residing for 15 years in New Albany, Ind., moved to our city. He is survived by his widow Margaret nee Schoepher Hemmerle; five children, his aged mother, Mrs. Rosina Schaefer, and three sisters. He was sick about 5 weeks with liver and stomach troubles.

He was married to Margaret Schoepfer in Louisville, Ky in 1880 and she survived him in 1912. He was survived by 5 children: Bertha, Mamie, Richard, Anton and Ida. I beleive that Rosina nee Gutman was his mother-Rosina (Gutman) Hemmerle married 1. Alford? Hemmerle; 2. Ernst J. Forehlich; 3. William Schaefer. Rosina died in August 1912. There was a sister Rosa that married Joseph Wolf and she died in 1935.
