Mrs. Etta A. Godwin

Mrs. Etta Ammons Godwin, age 67, died Thursday, May 23, at the Nevada County Hospital. She was born in Nevada County and was the daughter of the late ?im and Sarah Rodgers Ammons.

Survivors include her husband, Dallas Godwin; two sons, J. T. Godwin and James Godwin, both of Prescott; one daughter, Mrs. Sara Pearson of Prescott; three brothers, H. H. Ammons of Joiner, Lee Ammons of Prescott and Marvin Ammons of Waldo; one sister, Mrs. Effie Coldbanks of Kingsburg, Texas; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held Sunday at the Prescott Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Ray Hines officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery under the direction of Cornish Mortuary.

Pallbearers were Prather McGuire, Arlis Ammons, Donald Ammons, Delmer Ammons, Dale Ammons and Floyd Ammons.
