"Walter grew up in Great Falls, served his country as a Marine in the Korean Conflict, and graduated at the top of his class at the School of Pharmacy, University of Montana, in Missoula, in the spring 1956. He met and married Helen Saunders that same year, on September 21st. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Cardston Alberta Temple, of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a wonderful father... Walter's life was full, as a practicing pharmacist for many different retail pharmacies in Great Falls. He was very meticulous, and paid close attention to detail. He constantly kept current with ongoing education in his career field. This made him popular, and high in demand. He ended his career as the head pharmacist of the Cascade County Convalescent nursing home. His hobbies included photography, wood working, and culinary delights."
