Laura Ellen Jennings was born on 29 May 1870, in Adamsville, Lampassas County, Texas to Samuel K and Matilda Margaret Romaine Jennings.

Laura was one of 13 children and the ninth child of Samuel and Matilda, having three sisters and nine brothers.

Laura is a Descendent of Alamo Defender Gordon C. Jennings, her grandfather.

Laura married Charles Arthur Williams in Lampassas County, Texas on February 10, 1889. To this union four boys were born; Charles Arthur Jr. in 1890, Thomas Jasper in 1892, Walter in 1895, and Clarence in 1901.

The Jennings and Williams Family's drove Cattle to Auction on the Chisholm Trail.

Laura, her husband Charles and their 4 boys moved to Hardin, Big Horn, Montana, During WWI where they continued to raise Cattle and Farm.

Laura Passed away in 1933 at 63 years of age.
