Anna J. Amman, 75, of 15041 Sharon Rd. Chesaning, died Thursday morning, April 14, 1966, at Owosso Memorial Hosepital following a long illness. Funeral services were held Monday, April 18, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, with Rev. Fr. Henry Eickholt officiating. Burial was at St. Michael Cemetery, Maple Grove. Parish Rosary was recited at 8:30 p.m. She was born Anna Wenzlick, April 1, 1891, in Maple Grove Township. She married Casper Amman in 1908 in Maple Grove. He pre-deceased her in 1913. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and its Altar Society and also the League of Catholic Women. Surviving her are two sons, Clarence and Casper, Jr. both at home; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; five brothers and two sisters, Lawrence of Lansing, Joseph and Urban both of Maple Grove, Jacob and Nicholas and Mrs. Barbara Gross and Mrs. Margaret Gengler, all of Chesaning. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Brigetta Birchmeier, and a son Elmer Amman, also a brother and sister.
