DELANSON— Mrs. Jean H. Babcock, 77, of 52 Main St., Delanson, died yesterday at Ellis Hospital where she had been a patient for two weeks.

Mrs. Babcock was a member of the Delanson Methodist Church, the Senior Citizens Club of Duanesburg, the Duanesburg Republican Club, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Delanson Volunteer Fire Department, the Duanesburg Historical Society, and ladies guild of the Christ Episcopal Church of Duanesburg.
Survivors include her son, James W. Babcock of Schenectady; her sister, Mrs. J. Francis Purdy of Albany; one niece, two nephews, and several cousins.

She was the wife of the late Ernest L. Babcock.

Funeral services will be at White Funeral Home, Delanson, with the Rev. Harry Burdess, pastor of Delanson Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Quaker Street, N.Y
