Mr. Babcock conducted a feed business at Delanson with his brother until 15 years ago, when he left to teach at Sewanhaka High School, Floral Park, L.I.
He was a member of the Delanson Fire Dept., of the Delanson Methodist Church and of Noah Lodge, F&AM, Altamont.
Funeral services will be held tonight at 8 p.m. at the White funeral home, Delanson, with the Rev. James Roweland officiating.
Interment will be at Grove Cemetery, Delanson.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jean Harden Babcock; a son, James W. Babcock, Schenectady, and a brother, Perry E. Babcock, Savannah, Ga.
