Frank Yount, an Army Air Force World War II veteran, died Thursday at age 82.
Mr. Yount of Troy was a member of First United Church of Christ and retired after 38 years as a printer for United Color Press in Dayton. He was a member of the Troy Evening Optimist and assisted Habitat for Humanity. He was a 1937 graduate of Troy High School.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Prather Hawkins; stepsons, Robert D. Hawkins of Troy and Eddy D. Hawkins of Helsinki, Finland; daughter, Karen Schoettinger of Eaton; stepdaughter, Nancy C. Bailey of Troy; two grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren; and several step-great-grandchildren.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at First United Church of Christ, 120 S. Market St., Troy. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
Memorials may be made to the church, Habitat for Humanity, or the Miami County Cancer Society.
