Funeral services were held here Wednesday morning at St. Joseph's Catholic Church during Requiem High Mass for Stephen Mathew Frey of Freeport, Ill., who passed away Sunday, March 28. Rev. Father G.W. Brinkmann was in charge of the service with burial in St. Joseph's cemetery.
Stephen Mathew Frey was born in August, 1903, near Cadet, Mo. He was a son of George and Fannie Frey formerly of Bonne Terre, MO who are now residing near Sikeston, MO. He secured employment at Freeport five years ago and went there to establish his home.
