Florence was the daughter of George Frey and Fannie Bouchard, wife of Theodore Phillip Scherer.
Sikeston - Mrs. Theodore Scherer, 67 years old, died Wednesday at her home in Bertrand. Mrs. Scherer, the former Miss Florence Lillian Frey, was born Nov. 4, 1899 in Bonne Terre.
Survivors include, her husband, Theodore Scherer; a son Wilfred Scherer; a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Melton; her mother, Mrs. Fannie Frey; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Dumay and Mrs. Gladys Mader; three brothers, Clyde Frey, Raymond Frey and Stanford Frey and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be in the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston. Members of the parish will meet at Nunnelee Funeral Home for prayer services.
