Remains are at Austin & Bell Funeral Home where services will be held at 1 p.m. today (Wednesday) with Dr. Jerry Oakley officiating.
Burial will be in Robertson County Memorial Gardens.
He was the Commissioner of Utilities from approximately 1975 until 1981. Prior to that he was the City of Springfield gas superintendent for approximately 25 years. A native of Haywood County,Tenn., he was born Aug 18 1911 to Robert Cecil and Josie Sensing Burrow.
Mr. Burrow was a member of Springfield Baptist Church. He was a member of Eastern Star No. 9, F & AM and a World War II veteran of the US Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vesta Westbrook Burrow, and a brother, Elton Jay Burrow of Mason, Tenn.
