Life's Work/Service/Interests: On September 15, 1948, he married Norma Lois Pritchett Jensen; their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Herald A. Vance died August 21, 2003, in Provo, Utah.
Survived By: His wife, of Fairview, UT; his children: Suzanne (Garry) Turnbow, Loveland, CO; Wayne (Cindi) Vance, Spanish Fork; and Paula Powell, Salt Lake City; grandchildren: Craig, Paul and Cortney Turnbow; Canyon, Haven, and Hawken Vance and Jeremy and Mason Powell; great-grandsons, Cameron and William Turnbow; brothers, Mack (Winona) Vance, Fairview, UT; Ellis (Donna) Vance, Mt. Pleasant; sister-in-law, Bonnie Vance, Apple Valley, CA.
