CRAB ORCHARD - Dudley "Dud" Lawrence Shelton, 87, of Greenbriar Lane, died Thursday at Fort Logan Hospital, Stanford.
Born May 4, 1916, in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Johnny Reed and Vinnie Hopkins Shelton.
He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Della Hacker Shelton; two daughters, Teresa A. Newcomb of Livingston and Melissa Jo Blankenship of Crab Orchard; three sons, Clarence A. Shelton and Billy R. Shelton, both of Crab Orchard, and James R. Shelton of Brodhead; and a sister, Lou Nuckles of Crab Orchard.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at McKnight Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crab Orchard Cemetery.
