Streng, Michael L. Flint, Michigan Formerly of New Lothrop Passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at his home. Michael LaVern Streng was born the son of the late Arthur and Cleopha (Birkmeier) Streng on April 14, 1944 in Owosso. Michael is survived by two sons, Jonathan Streng, and Patrick and Tricia Streng all of New Lothrop; two grandchildren, Jesse and Emily Streng; five siblings: Donna and Jim Black, Betty and Maurice Ruddy, Larry and Kathy Streng, Marie and Larry Crete, Marilyn and Ralph Whitacre; one sister-in-law, Jane Streng. He also shared his life with Darlene (Schnieder) Dowen for 6 years. He was predeceased by one brother, Ronald Streng Cremation has taken place. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at St. Michael Catholic Church of Maple Grove. Family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Rev. Fr. T. J. Fleming will officiate with burial in St. Michael Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Streng Family. Arrangements entrusted to Walker - Martin Funeral Home.
