The funeral for Maxine Irene Bird, small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Bird, was held from the Watson Mortuary Chapel, Saturday afternoon. The funeral was preached by Frank C. Barnes, pastor of the local Christian church and burial was made in the Wheatland Cemetery with the Watson Mortuary in charge.
Maxine Irene Bird came into this life Dec 23, 1928, her spirit departed and returned to God who gave it on January 17, 1929, being three weeks and five days of age. The cause of her death was pneumonia. She leaves to mourn her departure, the mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Philip Bird and a baby sister, Phyllis besides other relatives and a host of friends to the family.
