Funeral services were conducted Monday morning Dec 21, in Shoshoni, for Phillip M. Bird who passed away Dec 18, 1953 in Riverton at the age of 52.

Mr. Bird was born March 30, 1901 in Havenville, Kansas and was united in marriage April 3, 1926 to Bernice Baker. He has been a Wyoming resident for the past thirty years.

Mr Bird is survived by his wife, one daughter Phyllis L. Good of Wheatland; one son Elery Bird with the Armed Forces in Ft. Lewis, Washington; one grandson George Hug (Hugh, they had it spelled wrong) Good Jr., of Wheatland; two brothers, Harry Bird of Lucas, Kansas, and Elery Bird of Shoshoni and one sister Zola Hansen of Los Angeles, California.

One daughter preceded him to death.

Interment was made in the Shoshoni cemetery.
